Linjer is a fine leather goods startup that makes luxury-quality leather goods more accessible to the modern man. (Linjer, pronoucned “liin-yir”, means "lines" in Norwegian.) Luxury leather goods are typically defined by highly inflated price points and conspicuous logos. Linjer offers classic, high-quality leather goods without either the bloated markup or the showy logo. We use the same materials and factories as luxury brands, but we keep retail prices low by selling directly to consumers and cutting out expensive marketing campaigns. We design every product to be minimalist and functional. Linjer was founded by a management consultant and a managing director at an e-commerce incubator. Neither could be convinced to spend $1,500 on a leather laptop bag for work. Linjer is launching on Kickstarter on October 7th. A women’s collection is planned for Q1 2015.
